Joepie Weed apparently attracts them rather well. The butterflies and the bees love this rather tall plant right now.
Which is quite nice, since this little girl really like butterflies!
We have been having a busy summer, so when we have a chance to relax we are taking advantage. I’m pretty sure I won’t be having a Crafty Tuesday post this week, although I do have something made up. Hopefully next week I will get a post up on it/them. I even got some mending done yesterday while we had an impromptu playdate. Our friend’s needed some takers for their 3 kids for about 5 hours, so we had a housefull of rugrats. They all behaved fairly well, so it wasn’t too taxing on us. I just didn’t get as much done as I wanted. This is not an unusual occurance, though. 😉
You did and awesome good capturing the butterfly. I have seen many of them recently and as soon as I get my camera they are gone, it doesn’t help that I have 2 kids around me all the time.
Butterflies are so fun to photograph. Looks like Anya is beyond excited about those butterflies.
What beautiful photos of those butterflies! I love the look on Anya’s face!! 🙂
Lovely butterfly and daughter pictures! My second daughter rescues butterflies that get trapped on our screen porch. We call her the butterfly girl!
Yep, I agree the summer has been busy. It hasn’t necessarily all been good, but definitely busy enough to keep me from what I normally would like to do, like take pictures. I love her expression of glee though. 🙂
