She has finally done it — standing on her own!  I wasn’t sure this day would come.  She never had an affinity towards standing and now she is totally digging it.  Part of it may be the over-excited expressions on her parents’ faces, but at least we can be of some benefit in her growing and learning process.   What is even better is that she does it in the middle of the floor, so she isn’t using a table first and then letting go.  She is pretty much a daredevil in a diaper. 

Look Ma…no hands!!

Our first indication that she was getting to this point was last weekend.  She crawled into the entryway onto the ceramic tile.  A minute later we heard a belly flop and some pretty serious crying.  We think she stood up and then fell forward.  Poor thing, but it is all about the learning process.  Now she will be just moments away from walking.
