I can see, I can see!
I actually pre-posted today, so thanks for thinking of me and telling me to REST gosh darn it! I did. 🙂 Thanks for all the well wishes yesterday, too…the procedure went well. It was quick, that is for sure. It took about a minute per eye, and when the laser was burning my cornea it smelled exactly the same as when the dentist is drilling a tooth. Was that too much info?
I took the Valium, but apparently that drug doesn’t work very well on me, since I was looking forward to passing out afterwards and that didn’t happen. I just tried to lay in bed and not open my eyes…and ignore that burning sensation. I was VERY sensitive to light yesterday and had a hard time opening my eyes. I’m sure my kids thought I was way cool, since I was wearing my shades in the house. My vision was still blurry last night, but after a restless nights sleep I woke up able to see. Hallelujah!
At my exam this morning I had 20/20 vision, but they said to expect spotty blurriness for about a month afterwards. All in all it was great. I think the anticipation was the worst part of the whole thing. I would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of getting this done.
Yeah! So glad it went well.
Yay! I’m so glad to hear it’s been such a success.
and good girl, I’m glad you had pre-posted and didn’t break the doctor’s rules. :o)
Yes!! So great to hear the good news!!!
Thank you! My eyes are dry and tired, but no pain…and I can SEE! 😀
So glad it went well. I want to do this, too. Thanks for posting about your experience.
I’m glad you had such a great experience! NO MORE GLASSES!!
It will only get better. They corrected me to 20/10! And I stayed that way for a long time. Now I’m down to a mere 20/20.
