I know, it is a shocker that I would post a calorie-ridden recipe on here isn’t? This is a concoction that Brian came up with once upon a time, many full moons ago and it is an appetizer that is readily consumed at Thanksgiving every year. I try to buy the low fat versions of everything I put in here (namely the VELVEETA-not-sure-it-is-really-cheese and the refried beans).

Recipe:

1 lb hamburger
1 can refried beans
1 jar salsa
1 small can jalapenos and/or green chilis – depends on the level heat you want in there
1 small can chopped olives
1 large brick velveeta

Brown the hamburger and then mix all the ingredients together in a crockpot. Cube up the velveeta to make it melt faster. Do this at least an hour before serving so it all has a chance to get nice and melted together. Serve with torilla chips.

Watch it disappear.

You’re welcome. 🙂
