I’ve never had a thumb-sucker, but boy was Mac a blankie-lover. He was seven and still HAD to have blankie at least in sight and definitely in hand for bed. He gave it up when finally it no longer existed. He literally loved it away, one day nothing was there. 🙂
A shot to die for! Baby Angel still has her blankets that she arranges carefully before lights out. Never carried them or sucked her thumb but certainly loved them as part of the night time ritual. I love this photo.
Thanks ladies! 😀 I know these photos will make my heart sing when she is older.
I make taggie blankies, so Anya has several, 7 at last count, actually. I wanted to make sure she didn’t get too attached to just one, so as long as she has one, she is good! There’s one in each car, one at daycare, and several strewn about the house. I started making them to sell, but they never took off so I give them away as baby gifts and Anya has gotten a few when we couldn’t find any of her others.
How precious! I know sucking the thumb is supposed to be bad for their teeth, but I LOVE it – so cute. I secretly hoped Nadia would suck her thumb, but she never has. But she is a very dedicated TedBear addict!

BTW, this is a shot to frame or scrap. Priceless.
Foo is a total blankie lover too. She got hooked on the little Gerb*r washcloths and always has one handy.
Your Princess looks so innocent in that shot. It’s lovely.
