Fade
Well, folks, it’s another Theme Thursday. The theme for this week is fade and I thought this picture suited it. Summer days are fading away…
By the way, this is mostly a photoshopped silhouette. I should have exposed for the sky, but didn’t so well. I just adjusted the contrast, used the burn tool to get them darker and burned the edges. Voila! A great daddy-daughter silhouette! 😀
Beautiful as expected. And, again, thanks for the how-to.
Thank you so much for the behind the scenes, I’m loving that almost as much as your beautiful images!
I think I am becoming a fan of the silhouette photos!!
Oh my gosh, I love this! And I love that you converted it into a silhouette. I loved silhouettes but have never been good at capturing them…I’ll have to try this.
So very cool! I’m with Christina, I can’t capture silhouettes well either, maybe I can try this trick….
I love the angle of this “forced” silhouette (gotta love an honest photographer). I can imagine A’s smile as daddy hoists her to the sky. 🙂
awesome picture! 🙂 love the blue blue sky. and thanks for sharing your “making a silhouette” tips.
Cool!! I love silouettes, total sucker for them. So emotional. Thanks for the PS lesson, too! Maybe you should start your own weekly PS theme:)
Thank you all for the nice comments and I really hope that giving everyone the details for how I get the shots inspires you all! 😀
The sunlight on her pigtails totally makes this shot! I LOVE it!
Beautiful shot.
She will cherish that one of her and her Daddy for years to come. 🙂
Stacy, that’s soooo beautiful. But what the **** is a ‘burn tool’??? ……no stop….I don’t want to know my brain is exploding………..:-D
Thank goodness there are brilliant and talented ladies picking up on your advice.
