Beauty
It’s another theme Thursday and this week’s theme is beauty. Now I was thinking of putting my favorite little blondie up, but I think our nieces are pretty good lookin’, too. Here is phase one of senior pictures for our youngest niece, Sara, with her noble steed, Sparky.
I remember when she was just a wee little girl and now she is going into her senior year in high school. Where has the time gone??
Photo details: f4, 1/125 shutterspeed, 26mm focal length and I think the ISO was 400. To see how I did the black and white conversion, look here. I also burned the edges using the burn tool in Photoshop.
What a great Senior Photo!!!
Senior pictures are just more and more elaborate these days. How pretty!
They are both beauties and beautifully done!
she is lovely! What a great senior portrait. It looks so, so real, like I should be able to reach out and touch the horse’s nose. I bet you get asked to do *all* the family pictures, huh?!
She is very pretty.. what a beautiful smile!
really great photograph. It does look like the horse is coming off the page.
Wow. She has cheekbones to die for!!!!! I guess pretty runs in your family eh?
Love the toning.
My 4-year old has a Sparky, too. But the Sparky (who’s full name is Sparky Marky)in our house is a dog, a puppet dog.

I love animal portraits as much as people ones, beautiful!
And thanks for the advice, it helps to know I’m not the only one with a melting down kid!
Beautiful young lady, beautiful horse and beautiful photography. I love a senior portrait that speaks volumes about who a young person is. This one does just that.
