Exposure
The theme for today over at Picture This is Exposure. This is a shot I took on Sunday of the table arrangement setting from the ceremony. This picture isn’t perfect, but it speaks to me. I love how the flowers are underexposed and the reflection of the vase and sky shows on their grand piano.
Camera settings: f4.0, 1/4000 Shutterspeed, 1600 ISO and I used my 50 mm lens. In processing, I just cooled the colors a bit to bring out the blue in the sky and upped the contrast a little. This was actually a true silhouette this time.
It’s beautiful. Great job.
The reflection totally makes this shot awesome. Nice work 🙂
Um, if you say this shot “isn’t perfect” I’m embaressed to even show my pictures anymore. Cuz this is SO beautiful and understated. I love the reflection.
I feel so calm looking at this. It is a striking silhouette with the sky and it’s reflection…truly beautiful.
Thanks ladies! 🙂 I get a sense of calmness when I look at it, too.
Christina, don’t you know that we are always our own worst critic? I’m definitely a type A personality that strives for perfection. 😉
This is so nice.
