Anya loves fancy things. Pretty things. All except fancy hair. I can’t quite get her to like long hair all done up pretty. I took these pictures the day before I cut it off above the shoulder. It is quite a bit easier now, but I love her hair when it is longer. Those pretty fine blonde tresses of hers.
She wanted short hair like her friends, though. It is her hair, so I acquiesced. She loves it, which is all that really matters.
The last pictures of her long hair for awhile. I love masquerade masks. This was a Valentines Day mask that I found at Homegoods. I snatched it up with visions of pictures of it with Anya in her birthday dress. She was quite happy to pose with the pretty mask.
She was my very willing model, though Kitty was less so. She and Anya get along pretty well, though. As you can see from this photo I took a few days earlier. Though she may look annoyed at Anya occassionally, she still likes to be near her.
Aww! I’m glad she loves her haircut, but I sighed when I read about it! I remember when I first read your blog and I saw all those glorious pictures of her soft curls!

I love that dip up there, reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. I miss V’s long hair too. But I don’t miss the complaining I got when I combed it. 🙂
