Fall
Have I told you all how much I love the “golden hour”? Ah, it’s Fall, so the golden hour is about the time we come home from work. We can go outside for a little bit around dinnertime and then it is time to get the kids ready for bed. Soon it will be dark out when we come home from work. I don’t look forward to that. Hibernation time is coming soon.
Wow. I never cease to be amazed, Stacy. Beautiful shots.
I love the golden hour too. And SO not looking forward to the time of year when it is dark when we leave the house…and when we come home! 🙂
I need to get outside more during this time!
These are gorgeous. I, too, need to get outside more in the evenings.
I am loving the bokeh on these. The background is just the perfect amount of fuzzy. 🙂
Both photos are stunning. I especially like the way the sun turns that little bit of Kai’s hair to gold.
Thanks ladies…I had fun last night. 😀 It is fun to shoot when you know that the pictures will turn out well…and the kids kinda cooperate. The settings on my camera, were basically shot “wide-open” at an aperture of f1.8. It is a pretty small focus area, but well worth the out of focus shots!
Seriously amazing shots. What beautiful children!
Wow…beautiful. Maybe when the clouds clear out, M and I can head out for some pretty “golden hour” shots. I haven’t done much shooting this week.
PSST: On another note, contest at The Benson place on my next post: It’s my 200th post!
You totally rock the golden hour. I never get results that good. But I don’t get to take advantage of the “golden hour” that often, as the sun still sets around 8 here – and that’s N’s bedtime.
Gosh, it’s amazing to see them in long sleeves cuz that won’t happen here for awhile.
