Wish me luck that I won’t cry when they take a big ‘ole scissors to my long locks. Eek! I want to be able to get my hair dyed (I do it myself) before I take pictures, so you all will just have to wait a bit before you are subjected to pictures me crying over my cut ponytail. At some point this weekend I will post pictures of my shorn hair. I just hope the stylist doesn’t get scissor happy when cutting. I may have to harm her if she does!
Hopefully my kids recognize me tonight… 😉
The before and picture of the day. It is kind of interesting trying to take a self portrait. Gives me a chance to try out poses that I may subject others to when taking shots of them.
See! It is long! Hopefully my processing masks the fact that my hair is several different colors and the fact that I don’t have any makeup on. I did this after I decided to go to bed, but of course I had to put on a pretty dress to do it. 😀
Good luck. I can’t wait to see what your new ‘do looks like.
Yowza. I can’t believe how long it is. Yay! I’m excited for you. You’re still doing locks of love, right? It would be a shame to just throw all that beautiful hair away. Good luck! I can’t wait to see it.
Thanks! And Melody, yes, I am donating it to locks of love.
I can’t wait to see the “after”. Your hair is gorgeous, but I know the shorter ‘do will still be awesome…and just think of the lucky person who gets the wig made of your awesome hair!
Nice portraits, too 🙂
Wow! It really is very long! Good luck!
Wow it is long Stacy! I can’t wait to see how it looks shorter! What a great thing you are doing!
That is some hair…does it (did it) take forever to shampoo??
I hope you love your new ‘do. I can’t wait to see it!
So awesome you are doing Locks of Love. Hope the cut went well and can’t wait to see the new ‘do.
So? How did it go???? Can’t wait to see the “new Stacy.” Your long hair is (was!) gorgeous and I don’t blame you for being a big regretful to lose it. But I think you will end up enjoying a shorter stlye, and you’re doing a great thing by donating to Locks of Love.
Love the pose in the first picture, and your dramatic processing for both.
Your hair and you are and will be gorgeous. Someone is going to have a beautiful new head of hair thanks to you.
Stunning portraits.
Thank you all so much! 😀
Carrie, it actually didn’t take long to shampoo…it was the combing out afterwards that took FOREVER. I had to use conditioners that were for straightening usually since those were better for combing through. It just got really hard to comb through lately due to my new waviness that just makes it harder.
when I looked at the top picture, I saw Kailan immediately. He looks sooo much like you!
