Melody’s promt this week was simply enjoy your family. One of the things that I really enjoy is Sunday mornings (my morning to get up with the kids), pancakes and syrup, and then puzzles. The kids really get into doing the puzzles and take turns putting pieces in and taking them apart. We have lots of puzzles. We have alphabet puzzles, number puzzles, puzzles with their names on them and even puzzles I had growing up. We sit in the south facing library with the sun shining in, warming us, and put together lots of puzzles. I know that these moments will be amongst my sweetest memories.
Good for you guys. I can’t get my little one into them yet. But my older one loves them ,too.
That’s great. Love your photos too! My 4 year old loves puzzles and has since she was a baby…your puzzles look amazing!
This is a fantastic Sunday morning tradition, and the photos are simply precious. I can completely understand how sweet is this time and why it will be among your fondest memories.
I love their PJs.
My 4 year old is addicted to puzzles. As am I!
These pictures are wonderful! What a fun routine. I think I need to incorporate more fun traditions into our daily lives.
What a truly wonderful family tradition! My girl is starting to really love puzzles, too…altho she still gets frustrated and loses interest pretty quickly. Awesome pictures, really captures the cozy atmosphere.
what a great little collage. i love the “puzzles in pajamas” — too cute!
I love those phots and those PJs for starters.
It sounds like a great family tradition…pancakes and puzzles, who could ask for more?
Ooooh … we are a puzzle family too ! Well, the kids and I love them. My husband doesn’t ! 🙂 I love the photo collection you have in this post ! Looks fantastic. What program did you use to put it together ??
Thanks ladies!
Bonnie, the program is Picassa. I used that to put the collage together and then used Photoshop to put the lines between the pictures.
Such sweet moments and precious memories! I remember when mine were that age and love doing puzzles. Now at 10 and 12 years old, they will particpate from time to time, but nothing like they used to.
Pancakes and puzzles on Sunday are a great combination. I don’t know what it is about Sunday and pancakes but growing that was certainly my family’s tradition combined with classical music. Adorable pictures, thank you for sharing.
