I was able to cheat a bit on this week’s theme from the aforementioned assignment:
- I had my Mom take the picture and did not use a remote and tripod. I had to have her take two sets since on the first ones I had the exposure off. Hey, if you have a human available, you have to use them!
- Anya was full on making her “fake smile”. On the picture I liked with the rest of us her smile was…not good. So, utilizing my wonderful Photoshop, I took her head from one picture and put it on this one.
Notice we even got Kitty in the picture? 😀
Here’s another one, it’s pretty similar. I’m not sure which one I like better.
I hope the rest of you were able to get some nice family pictures over the holidays. Please share!
What a great shot of the four of you!! You’re all lovely.
I do have a few shots with me in them, but I haven’t had time to load them onto my computer yet…
But I can’t wait to see what everyone else has for this week!
I love your family photo! The second one grabs me more, but I couldn’t tell you why.
We didn’t get any shots of the 4 of us together, but I did get this fun shot of my parents, my brothers and their spouses, my kids, and my niece…

Well, my family is still pretty small, so this picture was easy-peasy. 🙂 http://melissad-photography.blogspot.com/2007/12/thursdays-theme-family.html
Stacy, I am impressed by your photoshopping of Anya’s head. I love the color of the shot and seeing you!
what a great family shot…nothing as nice as that at our house :)! but here’s mine for this week:

I like the second one too – I think it is how your head is tilted in, it is a great shot!
Ours are not nearly as technically perfect or pretty – but I have 2 from the past few days, that I like, too.

You all look fabulous!
I’ve actually participated this week! Thanks for the prompt to get in the picture. I would not have thought of it and there’d be no proof that I was a part of the family, again this year!
See me Live! And In Color (and also b/w) here:

That is a beautiful family photo. I can’t figure out how to use the timer on my camera so it didn’t happen for us. Plus, the bulb on my flash burned out. So sad! Now I have to deal with that. Any suggestions?
SOOOOOOO late… Sorry… 🙂
I love them both – they are both fantastic – you all look so beautiful and happy.
Here is mine!

Those are both great! Its amazing that you can photoshop a new face on. I don’t have that skill. Here’s one that I took with my timer/tripod at Hanukkah.

those are goregous of you all. i will hopefully get something up soon to share!
That is a great shot. I forgot to grab ours before my mom left for a couple of days. Oops! But Pat still got one of Zane and I.

Stacy you are all beautiful!!!
Very nice family picture(s) 🙂
Everyones look very nice.
Some day I am really really going to participate in your weekly themes. I have read them and I think about them, but getting to them just hasn’t happened. . . YET!!!
aw they are both GREAT! I think I like the second better, however. I did not get to post today… we JUST got back from our 12 hour long day at Andy’s parents. You have such a beautiful family! 🙂
I get a flunking grade on this assignment. 🙁 I never did it.
But I love your family pictures! #2 is my fav. I bet you hear all that time that Anya looks JUST LIKE YOU!
Totally missed Theme Thursday this week in the excitement of my sister’s arrival but will keep my ear to the ground for next week. Love the family photos your mum too. So great to see you!!! I can’t believe you phtoshopped ehr head. It is not at all noticeable!!! I guess that’s why we tell kids not to believe what they see in photos now days huh?
Thank you all for the compliments! 😀 I just wanted to see everyone get a family photo, including me. We tend to forget to do those. 😉
great shot! i love all your great photography tips here.
Lovely shots Stacy! I’m also drawn to your second shot – not sure what it is but it grabbed me.
