Let us detail the facts, shall we?
Exhibit A –
The princess thinks that sleeping on the floor is more comfortable than sleeping in a bed. I will often find her sleeping right next to her humidifier and on the heating vent. Then I move her to the comfy pillow top mattress (aka: waste of money) we acquired so she would stop sleeping on the floor. Is she weird? YES!
Exhibit B –
The prince must claim to “be” a certain character in his cartoons. Example: Watching Super Why! he will claim to be the green superboy. I have a sneaky suspicion this comes from “helping” his daddy play his quest games. Wierd? YES!
For a short period of time (5 minutes) wilst I was too consumed with some mundane task, I didn’t change the station when the Teletubbies came on PBS. Kailan claimed to be the blue one, I believe. In short order I informed him that, in fact, he was not a freak of nature but a well loved boy and changed the station. Wouldn’t want him to develop a complex now would we?? 😉
But check out those faces. Gotta love ’em anyway.
And I’m not sure sleeping on the heating vent is that weird. It actually may be very smart.
So funny! I agree with Melody the heating vent might be good on those cold nights.
They sound pretty normal to me. Mine had dragons living in our chimney and visiting her for years. She was MOST insistent. My youngest sister did floor sleeping for many years. She grew out of it. Never fear 🙂
But they ARE gorgeous and obviously well loved.
Haha! I think ALL kids are weird! I know mine is, and there is ample proof of that. I remember sleeping on the floor as a kid, too.
that picture of Anya is awesome, OMG what an expression!
OMG, what photos. I love these!
Guess what…my boys always argue over who is which character when watching TV. Weird children, indeed.
