Kai and his Grandma
Momma: You have Ben’s birthday party on Saturday. What should you get for him?
Kai (the giver): I want to give him the toys I don’t play with anymore! *earnestly nodding his head and smiling*
*runs into the library and forages through the bag of toys to be given away*
*picks out the horse with one ear, the horse with two ears and an elmo finger puppet*
Kai (a charitable young lad): I want to give Ben these! *earnestly nodding his head and smiling*
Momma: Well, that’s really nice honey, but how about we get Ben some NEW toys? How about that? We’ll get him some animals.
Kai (a kind-hearted soul): Okay, Mommy!
Though I’m sure Ben wouldn’t mind getting some slightly very used toys, I think I will make a stop at Target today. He would perhaps prefer a dump truck. Perhaps not unlike the nice metal one he was 2 seconds away from hurtling down our stairs at Kai’s birthday party. Perhaps I should get one like that for him…hmmm…
Hmmm. Sounds like you’re a giver, too 🙂
I’d get him the truck 🙂
Now that is an especially ‘gifted’ little chap.
Best wishes
haha that’s so cute! 🙂
I remember doing that as a kid – digging through my piles of toys to find something to regift! Hehe! Yeah, I think the dump truck will go over well. 🙂
LOL sweet conversation and even sweeter photo!
Hopefully Ben’s family doesn’t have stairs 🙂

Yeah … dump trucks are always a hit ! Literally, I think with this little guy !
