Grateful for walks with the kids and gettting some fresh air. It was pretty fresh as the wind was picking up and blowing in a snowstorm. Thusly…it was a short walk.
Grateful for a hubby that buys me a new jacket for no reason other than because he thought it was “me”. 🙂
Grateful for fresh snowfall so the kids FINALLY have snow to play in this winter (see picture above re: our lack of snowfall). It was wet and sloppy and perfect for building snowmen.
Grateful for a basketball season coming to a close. Kailan seemed to enjoy it, though attendance by his team was spotty at best. Perhaps another year with a more dedicated team may make it more enjoyable. You are jealous of his shooting form, aren’t you? 😉
Grateful for little urchins that *mostly* behave in church. A certain little girl likes to be held most of the time, which can be a bit hard on the back after the first 30 minutes. 😉 (This was taken after Ash Wednesday Mass)
I am grateful for generous people. Saturday morning we went for a charity walk on a team for our friend’s son who was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in December. It’s been hard on him, but he is a little trooper. The walk raised $2.1 million for diabetes research.
I am grateful that Anya got up in time for us to go to the walk. We had to be there at 7:40 am, and most days I am still trying to get her out of bed at that time!
I like these posts Stacy 🙂 A grateful heart is a beautiful thing……
