Being from the Midwest, we don’t get to see the ocean very much. The waves crashing are so peaceful. I just love taking pictures of the ocean, too. This was along Highway 1 from Bodega Bay up to Jenner where we turned inland. It was pretty chilly that day and a bit misty. I think I got some nice shots, though.
Thanks everyone for the compliments on my pictures…I really appreciate it! 😀 Oh, and just so you know, I mostly just did a little editing in Picassa on all of these and not in PS. I had so many pictures I just didn’t have time to edit them in PS, plus they really didn’t need much…nature’s inherent beauty and all.
I have just one more day of pictures to post – our final day in San Francisco. Sadly, I didn’t get much that day since I was TIRED and ready to go home. I’ll post those on Sunday. Tomorrow will be dedicated to our birthday girl!
Beautiful. How come I don’t see you guys frolicking in the sand?
So pretty !!
Haha Melody…we weren’t frolicking because it was COLD! 🙂 It was probably in the low 60’s at the most there…at least it looks like it could be warm, right??
Ah, makes me homesick for where I grew up: Florida! Beautiful pictures! 😀
Yeah…it usually is chilly and misty..there aren’t many HOT beach days in NoCal…but it makes for amazing photos…because nobody is around to mess up the photos! So pretty…
I’m amazed at how much you got to see on your trip!!
Living in the area it took me years to see all you saw 🙂 What a fun trip!!
Yep Nor Cal beaches aren’t really “frolicking” beaches. Mostly just for sight seeing – but a lot of great fish.
So beautiful. You gave me an amazing respite from my dreary rainy day here. THANK YOU for the virtual vacation, so glad you got to go away! 🙂
It has some a rugged, “real” beauty. Breathtaking. Honestly, I’m not much for sand and salt water in person…but I could look at it all day long.
Gorgeous! Funny…it doesn’t LOOK chilly 🙂
Oh how I want to go there!!! Just beautiful!
Ohhh beautiful! 🙂
