I hope all the mothers out there (family, friends, internet buds, et al.) had a wonderful day yesterday. My boys made me breakfast and the princess watched and ate my toast. That was a good way to start the day. Then we went outside and the kids played with Anya’s new sand toys and I weeded my herbs and got the area ready for some new ones. We went to the various plant stores and got some new flowers, my herbs and varies sundries and came back and got really dirty. It was exhausting, but the good kind of exhausting.
Here are some pictures from Anya’s birthday party. She got a Dora bike from us that she isn’t quite ready for yet, I think. She doesn’t really have the knack of pedaling down yet. She got more Dora toys and books and summer clothes from the family, so she is all set. 🙂
The delicate little princess eating her cake like a caveman
Trying out her new bike
Playing with her little flashlight that came with her book.
Just being really darn cute
That sounds like a wonderful Mother’s Day 🙂 And Anya looks like she really enjoyed her party. She’s SO cute 🙂
Still waiting for my kids to outgrow the eating-cake-like-a-caveman phase. Must be birthday cake etiquette. Looks like she got some good loot.
“the princess watched and ate my toast.” That so made me laugh!
Glad you had a good Mother’s Day, and Anya had a good birthday! She is unbelievably gorgeous in that last picture.
Oh, she is just so precious! I love the one of her trying out her bike!
What a sweetheart! Gorgeous pictures!
Well she is really darn cute. 🙂
Sounds like you had a good mother’s day too.
She just gets cuter all the time – what a fun party!
She is a doll. Sounds like a great day. My daughter is just getting aboard that Dora train.
Oh so fun! And that last photo is gorgeous. Ad is sitting on my lap and asked who that was and she said, “she has a Dora bike!” I told her it was her birthday and Ad asked, “Is she free?! (three) Yeah! she gets to go to school now!” Can you tell she is anxiously waiting for her next birthday when she is “free”?
I’m glad you had a good Mother’s Day…and birthday day, too!
Is it terrible that I am sitting here singing the backpack song? ha ha.
Looks and sounds like a wonderful weekend 🙂
That is so funny that she just sat and watched you eat and then ate your toast!!! Looks like she had a great birthday!
Aw… cute. Sounds like she had a great bday.
looks like fun! she is beautiful:-)
She’s so cute! I love the last picture!
Zachary is loving “his” bike – it’s actually all pink and purple too, it was Aubrey’s but hey it works and HE LOVES IT – took him a while to get it but now that he does, he goes “super fast” as he likes to say 🙂
Such a fun post !
Don’t worry … I’m sure she’ll get the peddling down !! In her own sweet time !! 🙂
Sweet times. Anya does good “looking really darn cute”. 🙂
