So, what’s my excuse this week? Well, apart from the storms this week, I was sick, as well. I got 3-4 hours of sleep all week long, if I was lucky. Right now the nieces are here for the weekend. I went and met my sister-in-law yesterday to trade off with the girls, so I didn’t really have time or energy for a tip to be made. I’m getting kind of intermittent here, aren’t I??
Hopefully the theme won’t be too difficult this week. We went to the zoo today with everyone, so you can imagine this won’t take a whole lot of ambition for me to complete. I’m sure I could have just taken a picture of my kids playing together and that would have sufficed, though, too. 😉
Hopefully everyone has a wonderful weekend. We had a good day for the zoo, but storms are expected tonight. Hopefully they won’t be bad ones. I already had one sleepless night this week, since the tornado watch was overnight and expired at 5 am. That pretty much meant I didn’t get more than about 2 hours of sleep that night. I have a little headache that hasn’t gone away all week. I think I need some caffeine…and maybe sleep.
Of course…a bonus picture from the zoo. We were lucky enough to go on the weekend a new exhibit opened. This wasn’t the new exhibit, since I’ll save that for later. I just love how the acquarium light is shining on her in this shot.
At the Detroit zoo we have an underwater area like this… under the Polar bears. I took a photo of my girl and my husband thought the lighting was weird. I tried to tell him that I thought it was great! I love the shimmering blue light! 🙂
Oh and the only wildlife I can probably come near are my kids! ROFLOL
I love it. The lighting is totally cool. I love how you caught someone else’s camera in the shot. It’s almost as if everyone was taking that great picture of your daughter standing there.
The blue light is cool. With or without a zoo visit, we always have wildlife indoors as well as out. 🙂
Enjoy the nieces.
Oh no, I’m sorry you’ve been sick! But you’re super mom and made it to the zoo nonetheless. 😉 The light there is totally cool. One of the few times a color cast works!
I’ll be skipping (again) this week, as we’ll be out of town.
What a great shot! I love the blue color cast.
Love the lighting in that pic! Hope you are catching up on sleep!
I absolutely LOVE this photo. It should be on the zoo’s brochure.
I agree it should be in the zoo’s advertising!!
My wildlife is a bit more domestic…sometimes!
