One of the reasons not to have kids 17 months apart would be that when one starts into the toddler phase the other isn’t out of yet. Kai still will throw temper tantrums, whine incoherent words and expect us to know what he is saying and get mad at me for doing something like cutting his banana instead of giving it to him whole. We can get a 5 minute crying jag out of that one.
Anya is definitely entering toddlerhood. All of Kai’s toys are hers, especially the ones he is currently playing with…
He looked away for a second…his hand is off the train…I must be quick. YES! I have the coveted train!!!! **Meanwhile the firstborn is crying because his sister stole his train**
This was Anya’s reaction to her father putting her out of the pool because she would not leave her hat on her soon to be lobster red head. He sent her out to mommy under the shade and she was not happy…not happy AT ALL!
If this doesn’t look like a Toddler Tantrum I don’t know what is. If only you could see how she bunched up her shoulders and how they were shaking when she was in full scream mode. Oh, the tragedy, the utter pain she feels.
Welcome on the Toddlerhood Train. Next stop, not allowing clothes or *gasp* diapers to be placed on the smooth, smooth skin.
