I didn’t have to think to hard to figure out what to post this week. Celebration is more than just parties – it is the reason behind why we are rejoicing.
This little one’s life is a celebration. He has survived against the odds. He is the son of one of my very good friends. My heart aches for her that the little guy and her family have had to go through so much, just because she caught a virus when she was pregnant with him. A rarity that caused his body to start to breakdown in the womb. He survives despite what the doctors said at the outset, but it is a long hard road.
He is loved so much, and perseveres even with his developmental issues. At a year and 3 months he is 14 lbs, and has the cutest blond hair and blue eyes. I captured a rare smile on this occasion…a celebration within a celebration.
If you have some extra prayers, spare some for this little guy.
Let’s see your celebrations! 🙂
Isn’t he just precious! I will certainly add him to my prayers!
Here’s what (who) I celebrate:

Hey there! Just stopping by to say hello, it’s been a while. We’re through traveling and I’m just about ready for school to begin again. I’m hoping if I begin early there will be an extra week for us to hit the beach one more time before fall. I’m going to buy all our curriculum next week. And the school room in freshly carpeted so there’s nice glue fumes for us to breathe and to stimulate all those brain cells.
Your post above. How sweet. Lot’s of God’s most special blessings on him and his parents.

He is a celebration! He is more than a celebration – he is a miracle and a hero and proof of God’s love for us! I do the happy dance every time you mention him. Is he mostly out of the woods now, or is it still touch and go?
Mine’s a bit of a stretch today, but since we’re all about creative licence is should be okay. 😉

What a sweet angel, he’s in my prayers – my celebration today is for Rylan, he’s out of surgery and doing well, though still quite swollen, he’s doing well and that’s a celebration!
What a sweet little face. Glad he beat the odds and hopefully continues to do so!
A beautiful baby. He’ll be in my prayers. I totally had a post in my head for celebrate…. but there’s no time today. Maybe I’ll get it up tomorrow.

He is absolutely precious. My heart and prayers go out to his mother.
Babies are always a cause for celebration, especially when they beat the odds. My celebratory photo is up and I can’t wait to check out all of yours. Happy Thursday!
That little guy is a miracle and should be celebrated everyday. I will definitely keep the whole family in my prayers. His eyes make me wonder what he is thinking.
You’ve captured an amazing picture of him. I’m sorry to hear about the developmental problem and hope he continues to bring joy to his family for as long as possible.
My celebration is baby related too. Not me mind you…

What a true miracle and a celebration of life!
All intentions to have my post finished for today went out the window with this weeks schedule! Last but not least – here’s mine

I read your post this morning (I guess it’d be yesterday morning now) and had your friend’s baby in my prayers all day!
I didn’t get a chance to participate this week. Agh! How do you ladies do it? I don’t even work outside the home, or go on playdates or go shopping or make my kids clothes! I admire y’all!
That touches my hearts & he will have one extra prayer today, along with his parents.
Thanks for the lovely photos and heartfelt post, Stacey. Prayers his way. I am so bummed that life got in the way and I didn’t get to post to this, but I will this weekend and link back!
Oh, what a beautiful boy! I have lots of prayers for him and his parents. 🙂
What a perfect life to celebrate! Thanks for sharing Stacy…
What a perfect little peanut he is! A true celebration.
Definitely a reason to celebrate! And he is officially added to the prayer list.
