We have friends back in the old neighborhood that have a party each year at the end of September.  They make Mulligan’s Stew and take people over on a hayride to the pumpkin patch they plant at their parents house.

This year was the first year they did it after his dad passed.  The pumpkin patch was his baby.  He told them to keep it going as he was dying of cancer.

You should see the size of the pumpkins that sprouted up where they weren’t planted.  They were leftover seedling from the year before.  He was smiling down on them!

On the way to the pumpkin patch!

So many to choose from!

Daddy helping Anya find one and Tipsy eating peanuts (there is always peanuts on the hayride…oh, and beer.   There is always beer, too. 😉 )

Found one!
