A little bit of cooperation. That’s all I’m asking for. Occassionally mommy gets what mommy wants. Mommy wanted pictures of the little man, and he was excited!! to have mommy take his picture. It helped that he got to open my reflector many, many times and he also discovered the pop up flash button on my camera and pushed it every chance he got. Despite a sometimes frustrating session with some definite lacking of focus at times…mommy got what mommy wanted. Squeeeeeee!!
A little sunflare and EYE CONTACT

Pondering life and how she may injure her brother again
If you are interested in how I did these shots, they are shot at a focal length of 18mm. I’ll describe the processing on Saturday, but it is similar to what is described here…only I like this better.
hahahaha What has she been up to? Poor old brother! I did something like this to my sister once. Oh I blush with the shame 🙂 I must admit I was a lot older when it happened !! The first shot was worth the wait.
Wonderful shots, o’ course! All are precious, but that first one–oh my!
~~
I like your comment about the last shot, pondering how to cause bodily harm once more. Too cute, although we hope that’s not really what’s streaking through her mind. 😉
Your first shot turned out excellent. I like the bit of sunburst in the background.
Awesome shots! I love the 18mm angle!! (I think I’ve decided on the Nikkor 18-200 zoom for my next lens thanks to your advice!!!)
That second one is awesome. Oh, and what kind of reflector do you have? I’ve been wanting to get one, but wondered how that would work when shooting solo…
oooo that second shot. STUNNING! love the angle on it, and how the shoes look so big. FUN!
He looks so old!! When in the world did he get all grown up?!
I love the sweet photo of them – and then BAM! Fat lip from A! Ha ha ha ha!!
I really like these – and good for Kai for finally cooperating a bit. It’s all we ask for, it isn’t much!
Excellent! And you didn’t even have to pay them? 😉
I can’t wait to read about the processing on Saturday. I am still very much learning and I appreciate the time you take to explain it to us newbies.
Beautiful! I can’t imagine how they can have such well-worn knees but such pristine white shirts. You’re a miracle mom 🙂
Mine are not nearly as beautiful, but I’ve been concentrating my creative efforts on just keeping afloat!

I might have forgotten to hit submit–here’s mine:

I love that flare shot–I’m still getting over my hangup of feeling like I should be avoiding it!
I love the vintage feel – wonderful and I cant wait to hear what you did! 🙂
Whoa. These are incredble – especially that first one with the sunflare and a much-too-grown-up Kai. And Anya the little agressor…the world better watch out for that one. 😉
The processing rocks too, can’t wait to hear your tricks.
Beutiful.
Kailan is looking so GROWN UP!!!!
Lovely shots! Isn’t it so nice to get a little cooperation?
Love the new look, btw… 🙂
Oh dear on the lip! Hilarious at the same time though! And I love the dirty knee shots.
