A few more from the photo session with the kids. They were having a super fun time with the bubbles. Oh, to be a kid again.
Playing with their bubbles kept them fascinated for about 20 minutes. Anya, of course, would try to pop all of Kai’s bubbles or blow bubbles in his face, the little stinker. Eventually she got tired of provoking him and they both laughed and blew bubbles and tried to catch bubbles.
Kai would blow his bubbles, catch one on the plastic circle, and yell, “It’s magic!”. Yes son, it is…
You got lots of great shots that day!
ohh that dress turned out so well! It’s beautiful!!
These shots are just so cute! I love them in white surrounded by all the green – the contrast is perfect!
Love your commentary… I can so relate to how kids play, bug, play, annoy, and finally get along!
Can it be possible that the kids are actually taller since I first started reading your blog??? Doesn’t seem that long ago!
again with the beautiful dress (and photos!) – that was a fun shoot!
Very nice Stacy. We just did our yearly portraits too, near a lake (as in WAY TOO MANY DISTRACTIONS). Next year, it’s in the backyard too.
That dress on her? Perfection.
Ella loves to play with bubbles too. I love the sunlight on the great big tree behind them in the first shot. And the grass looks so soft and fuzzy in the background, I just want to roll in it!
I’m glad they’re so clean and kind with their bubbles. W.W. makes huge messes with bubble solution and chases them with a vengance all over the yard. I can’t say he’s very calm. Your two make the art of bubble blowing seem much calmer than mine. 😉 And I can’t see how their outfits stay that white! Had to say it…
I just love hearing the stories of them playing together and having so much fun! That is the big payoff of having them so close together (so I hear…I’m still in the oh. my. gosh. this is hard stage)….
Anyway, love the intensity of their faces in that first one!
All the bubbles we keep getting won’t catch without popping! You most of some magic bubbles!
