The last few days I’ve been walking a bit slower due to a foot infection, so I didn’t get out and shoot this week. As per the usual, it took 3 days of limping and pain to get to the doctor. You have to make sure it is starting to getting really bad before going in right?? Now I’m on antibiotics, so dang…no wine for a week!
I decided to take a shot from last week and used some textures on it.
Two birds…two kids…that’s multiples right??
*****
What multiples did you find this week?
Hope that Renaissance trip did not cause an injury. It did sound like fun.
Like always your are awesome with the processing.
Try to enjoy a slower life right now. Get better soon.
Man that came out beautiful! I don’t have anything multiple yet. But it’s only 11:50pm on Wednesday! there is still time!
I don’t know if this counts, but I posted multiple photos!
I need to learn more about texturing. I always love the photos you share!
WOWza, Stacy. That looks like an old painting. Stunning.
Wow, that shot is awesome! You should def make that one into a canvas and print it BIG! Awesome shot.
I love how the texture came out on that photo. I hope your foot get better soon. Be a good patient and make sure you finish all your antibiotics.
Here’s my multiples:

So sorry about your foot. Prayers for a speedy recovery.
MAN OH MAN do I love what you did with this picture!
I only have MS Digital Image Pro and I’m much the rookie – so I adore the whole feeling you’ve captured with the colors and textures here!
Can I frame this??? 🙂
WOW! That really does look like an old painting. I think that with the right frame that would look amazing in my house :-)!!
I didn’t get a chance to shoot or look for any multiples this week – next week!
Hope your foot is feeling better and you are back to drinking wine, er…up and at ’em in no time!
Multiple ropings that’s what’s going on this week.

Sorry to hear about your foot. The mom in me wants to ask if you’ve had your tetnus shot recently. 😉 Hope the antibiotics work quick.
Nice texture in the image.

Stacy I absolutely LOVE your photo!
Stacy, I could just die over the composition in this one, I am trying to move away from my predictable shots and get something different. This is EXACTLY what I have in mind, except I haven’t nailed it yet. Love the textures, too.
And love the theme of multiples, here are my multiples–multiple multiples in fact!

Ooooh that is AWESOME (the shot mind you, not the foot). Ouch, be sure to get pampered!! 🙂
Goodness woman, it’s just always something for you. Hope the foot is better soon.
And this image! WOW!!!! It really does look like an old painting and the texture is exquisitely applied. Truly gorgeous. I’m with Anna on trying to break out of the box, and this inspires me!
finally – I’m back to participate! Can’t wait to see what all of you have done. Stacy – how did you add the textures on your photo? Will someone help me be less afraid of photoshop?
Back at the end of the day! Woo-Hoo!

Time to go make dinner now.
I still love that shot. Wow.
Hi Stacy! I’ve been a fan of your blog for months now (does that make me a blog stalker? I promise I’m not the scary kind!) and I love all of your photography tips. I recently bought CS3 and I’m still trying to figure it all out since I’m not as familiar with Photoshop. Anyway, I’ve always LOVED pictures with added texture like the one in this post (which is a GORGEOUS picture, by the way) and I was wondering if you’d be willing to do a post on how to add texture in Photoshop. Or if you could point me in the right direction of where I might be able to find a tutorial. I’ve been searching for one, but haven’t had any luck yet. I hope to talk to you soon!

I love this! The shot is beautiful, but the texture makes it even better!
This is amazing Stacy. Its almost dreamlike. Great use of texture and such a vast image. Beautiful.
Seee I love playing with textures too. Fab job!!!
Amazing. Makes it look like a painting.
Amazing picture. Wow.
I have no tangible multiples, but I realized this week my kids have a Grandpa and Uncle named the same, an Aunt and a cousin named the same, and another Aunt and another cousin also named the same. Poor kids. :p
I am late to seeing this portrait but it is unbelievable, like a painting – a jigsaw puzzle, the cover of a great Steinbeck novel. Brilliant.
(ps. I did not read through all the comments so I have no idea if I’m ditto-ing anyone.)
I love that texture. It looks like something right out of a storybook!
Hope your foot feels better soon!
I love the texture on this, Stacy. It looks like a painting!
I hope your foot is doing bettter. ***hugs***
