Hope everyone has some great plans today with the ones you love. We generally have a hard time finding sitters on V-Day, most especially since we don’t live near our families. We’ll probably just watch some movies we rented, have some tenderloins and a good bottle of vino.
Here is my new setup. Isn’t my hubby great?? I got a new desktop (quad core and I have 2 terabytes of storage!!!), a wacom tablet mouse, a sandisk card reader and a cute little wireless keyboard with a touchpad. Lots of wires…I need to get a solution for that one. It looks so messy! I got my CS3 license transferred over from my laptop with no problem, so I’m ready to rock and roll!
What does hubby get? Well, I think we are going to go shopping for him. I’ve been patching holes in pockets for his pants for work…so I think it’s time! He has a hard time wanting to spend money on tailored pants since he can get a case of wine for that price. Priorities you see. It’s the price you pay for being tall and not being able to find nice pants in the right length.
We are so romantic, aren’t we?? 😉

Give us tips and updates on that Wacom. I really want one but think that I would be getting in over my head.

Hey, who says gifts are a necessary part of Valentine’s Day anyway? (though you did majorly score!)… it’s the being together and appreciating eachother part that really matters!
Our Valentine’s Day? Kiddo stays with us and we went shopping for a new dvd player. Our new one bit the dust already and I don’t know if I can handle a day without the hour-long break a Thomas the Train dvd provides! 🙂

We are going to watch “Sleepless in Seatle” and call it a night…we did take the kids to get Mexican food and some frozen yogurt earlier.
I don’t think we’ve ever gone out on V-Day too many people….we prefer our little sushi place all to ourselves 🙂

Love the set up. I showed my husband the shot and told him I want one of the Wacom Tablet Mouse. I am lucky as well to have a computer guru for a hubby, we recently got a new desktop and he was loading software on it for me last night. I can’t wait to try it out later this evening.
Glad you guys had a good Valentine’s. I would find it hard to spend money on pants when I could get a case of good wine for the same price too 🙂

I’m interested to see how you like your Wacom. I had one a way long time ago, one of the first generation ones and I just could not get used to it. Or get it to work properly.
But the touchpad on your keyboard, that I could get used to since I only ever design and work on my laptop! Mouse? What is that??

Yep, we are just as romantic as you – we went to a steakhouse with the kids for V-day! LOVE your new setup!!! So excited for you! I use wire ties on my wires and at least get them bound together in a set…helps a little for the wires and it’s pretty easy.
So this is where all the great things are going to happen. Well done!

I have to buy all my pants at BUCKLE. It’s a wonderful store but only for hip jeans. Just in the event that you are looking for those. Mine are 37.5 inseam. Cool huh??? Tell your hubbie I so empathize with him.
