Oh, how I love to relax. Unfortunatley I don’t get a chance to do it often enough. The kids on the other hand, can relax and take naps whenever they want. Do they? Why of course, not!
Kailan has pretty much moved past the nap stage and Anya is on the verge. Usually she will fall asleep in the late afternoon on the weekend and fall asleep somewhere.
…and relaxing in a chair..
What relaxing scenes did you find this week?
I love that she can fall asleep anywhere. It sure makes for some great photo ops 🙂
At the risk of starting a mini riot with other contestants… you have got to enter some of your amazing shots on iHeartFaces. I think your captures are pretty amazing.
(okay, you’re gonna laugh… but I just peeked at Mr. Daddy and he’s sitting at his computer typing a comment on this same post… I gotta beat him!)
I must have hit my second childhood, in a chair or on the floor. Seems as if there is a switch on my butt, as soon as it hits the easy chair my eyes go closed….LOL In fact the pic of Anya sleeping on the rug has inspired me to find a place just that comfy and take a nap myself…
O isn’t she just the clever one????
What artsy and restful photos!!! I wish I could just fall asleep on the floor like that! That would be wonderful!!! 🙂
Here’s my post (I know! Shocker! I am participating!! haha) http://mommeeandherboys.blogspot.com/2009/03/theme-thursday-restful.html
Aren’t kids amazing how they can crash just about anywhere?! Lucky ones. 😉 Nadia almost never naps anymore and I’m even thinking about doing away with quiet time. Sigh. Mommy still wants her afternoon rest, even if she doesn’t!
Here’s my contribution

It’s so funny how the kids can just fall asleep anywhere. I wish I had that skill!
Here’s an old shot of my boy relaxing when he was just a babe!
My kids both take naps (most of the time) when we are at home. They never just fall asleep somewhere. Rarely do they ever fall asleep in the car either. So I never have any good photo ops. I love seeing all of Anya’s interesting sleeping places. I have some photos up, but nothing that screams relaxing.
I have to admit, I am a HUGE fan of napping. The ability to sleep in the afternoon is one of the best things about working night shift!
Hopefully A will keep those naps for just a little bit longer — I’ll keep my fingers crossed!

That is so funny how she’s sleeping! I am not looking forward to the day Zane stops napping! That sounds bad but it’s so nice to have that time.
Oh, I long for the days of the nap. My girls only nap when they are sick anymore – and I love that Anya will just nap “somewhere!” It does make for some prime photo ops!
We are resting in the bathtub over at Chaos today.
It does seem like there is less and less time for relaxing nowadays without a doubt. Never enough time in the day. 🙂 It is nice to see pictures of the kids taking it easy though, maybe it helps make up for the years to come of being busy busy busy.

Like I said in my post there is not much rest around these parts lately but I did manage to sneak a shot of Francesco sleeping.

Oh that first shot almost makes me tired with how relaxed she is!
Stacy LOVE the serenity of your first photo.
here’s another week where I contribute the antonym of the theme 🙂

She is a girl after my own heart. I am constantly falling asleep on the floor. Mostly at work 🙂
Forgot my link!
Restful
I am having so much trouble with html links at the moment!
restful
Oh to relax…..what’s that anyways??
Gotta be a way to get more of it, please let me know if you figure it out~
Love seeing the crazy places A finds to sleep…what I would give to fall asleep anywhere, anytime.
I love that top picture. LOVE IT!
After my son stopped taking naps he used to sometime go upstairs to his bedroom and take a nap on his own.
