It’s always fun to have kids over to our house. They love the park in our backyard. It’s nice to have a fun, safe place for the kids to play. Our nice 6′ fence around the outside and many play areas to keep them busy.
We added one thing recently to the play area. A Pirates of the Carribean wheel, spyglass and map…all rather, well, plastic. Kailan asked for it at The Home Depot. I looked at the price tag…$45.
Ummmm…no. Then he went to Daddy. Daddy heard $25, and said, “Well, okay!” I thought, “Well, if Brian thinks it’s not OUTRAGEOUS, then okay.”
Foiled by the children again.
When mommy and daddy are asked the same questions in our house, the conversation always starts out with “what did daddy (or mommy) say?” That way, no foiling can take place! haha.
What a great play area! I can’t wait to get building on ours…in the next house! 🙂
Establish now that your house is the cool house that way they’ll always want to play there and you’ll always be able to keep an eye on them. Cool boat, even I’d love that.
Harper is WAY into Pirates of the Carribean right now. She would love the boat and accessories. Definitely looks like your house id the place to be…
I love your park too! Be over in a few 🙂 Woo hoo! 🙂
Great photos!
love the sand pit …
You really do have an awesome backyard setup! And clever little munchkins. 😉
That is so awesome, Stacy! Wow! I’d love to have that sort of backyard for my boys when they get older! We currently have a postage stamp backyard, which is fine for the moment…but, when we buy again, a large backyard will be a must!
But really…the $$ is well spent when everyone loves to hang out back there, right? Man…I want to come hang out there!
You have an excellent backyard! 🙂
You must have the most popular yard in the neighborhood — that makes ME want to come over to play! 🙂
You’re so lucky to have a great place for kids to play. I had a great backyard when I was little too. The kids will have fond memories of thier backyard when they get older.
