Okay, this isn’t rocket science or anything big, but I thought I would share my recipe for tuna fish sandwiches. It’s really yummy.
2 cans tuna fish, juices squished out
2 TBSP vidalia or spring onion, minced
2 tsp sugar
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp Wasabi spice
Garnishes:
sliced avocado
feta cheese
greens
Bread – I usually use whole wheat.
Mix all the ingredients together for the tuna fish and stack up with the garnishes on the bread. It’s better to let the tuna fish mix sit for a bit, but you can eat it right away, too. Enjoy with a nice Riesling or Gewurztraminer on the deck, if you are so inclined. Give kids peanut butter sandwiches because they hate tuna fish and it’s too spicy for them anyways. 😉
That sounds delicious….
Look at you…all posting real measurements and whatnot. 😉 Looks lovely! I totally crave fish…and often mix either sardines or wild canned salmon in with my “tuna” salad.
I would never had thought sugar in a tuna dish. I will have to try that, I like trying new thing. I am usually pleasantly surprised. My husband on the other hand would eat the same plain jane Tuna with Mayo and not even attempt to try something new.
And I would never have thought wasabi. I’m gonna try that!
ick. I’ll pass on this one. I’m sure it’s great as far as tuan goes, but I can’t stand tuna!
My husband would so love this
