It has been awhile since I updated, so here it goes:

Anya – she has been such a wonderful baby.  She started sleeping through the night on an occasional basis at 7 weeks.  Now most nights she sleeps until at least 4:00 (sometimes 5:30) when she will get up for a little drink and then it’s back to sleep.  She started eating cereal last week at around 5 months old and has been thoroughly enjoying chewing on the spoon.  She has a wonderful “go with the flow” temperament, although bottles still do pose a challenge.  Her Baptism was on October 16th and she was lucky enough to have her family around her (Mom, Dad, Grandma Joan, Grandma Gretch, Grandpa Mike, Aunt Susie, Aunt Stephy, Cousin Sara, Great-Grandmas Lillian and Josephine, Great-aunts Margie and Nan and Great-uncle Dan).  Her aunts were her Godmothers and had a beautiful little prayer for her that cousin Sara wrote.  She was of course the cutest baby of the three!  Father couldn’t find the stoles at the Baptism, so he dropped it by afterward.  Such a nice man!

Kailan – He has been learning to talk at an astounding rate.  It seems like every day now he comes home with a new word (or he can at least articulate words he’s been working on!).  It took him awhile to get the hang of it, but now he even can do a few strings of words together.  He has been a bit under the weather due to the seasons changing – it seems colds go around a lot during this time.  At daycare he continues to be quite the ladies man – his current little girlfriends are Avery and Lydia.  Both are within a month or two of his age, and they get along so well.  The other week, Avery told her mom and dad at the dinner table “Kai is my friend!”  These kids are just too cute!

As for Brian and I we are doing fairly well.  Brian is still trying to fight off a virus and a foot problem.  I am having some wrist and hip problems from carrying the babies around so much, so I may have to make a visit to the chiropractor.  I also have started a little business making baby carriers called Mei Tai’s.  It is a very old Asian design – a bit modified for modern ways.  It will help me pay for some Christmas presents and new clothes I have been buying since I’m now down below my prepregnancy weight.  Still have that “baby” tummy though…
