Tracey‘s theme today for Best Shot Monday is a Mother’s Love. This is it for me. This is the sweetness that makes me a mother. Of course, a mother’s love, is more than can be put into a photo. For me it is the patience to listen to a little man explaining something…very slowly. It is singing a song or twelve every night to baby girl before bed. It is putting them in time outs so they learn how to be respectable little urchins. It is the thought of what to make for dinner that will be nutritious and edible to toddlers. It is time I put into making cute little outfits (like the one above) for baby girl. It is so many innumerable things and ways in which I love.
Mother love manifests in so many ways. They are sweet.
beautiful tribute to your children and motherhood. and love the emotion in the photo.
I just love this room, Stacy! Is it your home study or library. ANd such a wonderful shot of your kiddos 😉
Thanks Ladies!
Jen, this is our library (what would have been the formal living room). We never saw the need to have a living room and family room on the same floor, so we made it into a library. Eventually we want to put built in bookshelves instead of the 4 mismatched bookcases that we currently have. I love this room! It took me 3 days to do the paint treatment on the walls that everyone thinks is wallpaper. We bought most of the furniture and rug at different times but everything flows very well together. I have been thinking of doing a series on rooms in our house, since I love to do interior design. Here’s an older picture of the whole room:

Well expressed words of mother love and the photo depicts every mom’s heart through the love of her children for one another. Love the happy love look on K’s face. 🙂
I’ve edited my post to join in the “mother love”.
Such a precious photo… capturing a moment of sibling love. I’m sure your heart just swells with love as you look at this. Such a beautiful moment and post.
Such a beautiful tender portrait and beautiful, tender words. Just wonderful.
And I LOVE that room! Wow, it’s fantastic!
Thanks so much ladies! The best part is that I didn’t say, “now hug!”…I just captured them in a huggy moment. Too sweet, my teeth ached watching them. 🙂
The bond between siblings, even at such a young age, amazes me. How beautiful that you caught this expressed.
Gosh, I love that post Stacy. And that image is just wonderful. I love seeing the whole room swirling around them as they embrace. It has such a neat vibe.
