Yesterday we went to Brian’s hometown to have a luncheon in honor of his mom retiring this past Monday. It was very nice to catch up with the family. We rarely see them. Afterwards we went over to his mom’s house so he could help her set up her new laptop. She got her email and wireless all set up, so she’s all set. Meanwhile the kids were entertaining us with their attempts to make noise….errr, I mean play music on her piano.
Then we headed home. It started snowing about a half hour into the trip. The kids were fast asleep in the back as the roads got progressively worse. There was only a few inches of snow on the roads, but it was that wet slippery stuff. After we got home and got the kids in bed, we both had a drink…or two.
Winter, you can leave anytime now. Really.
Well, don’t know what they sounded like but from these photos they look like concert pianists! Glad you got home safely.
Nothing quite like kids on the piano….LOL Or driving on wet slippery snow and ice…. Thank God for a drink, OR two… :o)
Great pictures! Some of my earliest memories were playing my grandmother’s piano. Thankfully, I got better, ha ha 🙂
Glad you guys made it safe in the snow!
