Just lovely. I adore ruins, old buildings…anything with a history. These shots remind me of a place near our former home in the mountains. I always felt so peaceful there, yet surrounded by spirits past. Ok, now I sound weird. You nailed these shots.
Amy it is in downtown Minneapolis…it is the remnants of a 19th century water facility where they used to make energy for the mills along the river. It is a fairly small area and we couldn’t get next to everything since they have walkways to keep you off of the ruins. It was pretty neat!
Wow, that is cool to find such ruins in a city in such good condition. Well for ruins that is. : ) Thank you for sharing the location, I was going to ask too.
Such a pretty place – thanks for sharing the photos.
Amazing!!! I wish I could see that in person.
wow, is that a gorgeous place or what?! Especially #1. I love your processing, so vibrant and full of live in a place of “ruin”
It was a great find in the midst of a big city. A little oasis of green! 😀

It’s not far from where the 35W bridge collapsed.

Wow, I was just going to ask, “Ruins where?” It looks like someone could have thoughtfully constructed it to looks that beautiful.
