This was the sky last Friday night.  A few storm systems went through that night.  The first wave hit just as I had the food almost done on the grill.  The wind started blowing all around and was looking a bit ominous.  Of course, Anya went outside to watch the weather as I was getting everything back inside.  I told her to get inside and go in the basement.  I’m nothing if not overreacting when the weather is ominous.

I quick pulled everything off the grill and finished it in the microwave.  Then as we were almost done eating in the basement, another one came through and was done about an hour after bedtime.  We brought the kids upstairs and I got a few snaps of the funky colored sky.  Our area didn’t have damage but the first wave did damage an area up north.  Just as the holiday weekend started they had to clean up overturned boats and downed trees.
