Remember that Kailan got a brand-spanking new compound bow for his birthday last year, courtesy of Grandpa Mike?

Well, now he has ARROWS!

When Brian and I went to a rock band festival last month, my parents had the kids for the weekend.  My Dad outfitted Kailan with arrows and set up his bow for him.  He really does love shooting it, too.  When we got back from the festival to pick them up, Kai showed us his shooting prowess.  He stood out in hot, hot weather to shoot the bow.  This kid does not like to be hot.

These pictures are from last weekend, when my parents held an annual family reunion.  When we got there Kai wanted to start shooting his bow right away, but due to the other humans and pets running around we told him, “No way, kiddo!”  He had to wait until the next day to shoot his bow.

As you can see he is very serious about it, too.
