Well, it is summertime, so I don’t have much to share.

I grill some meat or fish.  The pickings are pretty slim in the freezer right now, though.  In the next few weeks we will get our once a year 1/4 angus beef and 25 lbs of Alaskan Salmon.  Can’t wait!

I grill some veggies.  I gots lots of veggies.  I even ordered extra tomatoes last week and put up some of my roasted tomato pasta sauce in the freezer.

I put some bread on the top rack of the grill in the last 10 minutes.  The children require bread.

That is pretty much summertime cooking in a nutshell.

I do make salads, though, too!  Basically, just whatever veggies are fresh, mixed with either feta or fresh mozerella and a vinaigrette.

I have a lot of vinegars and olive oils to choose from.  I found some Avocado oil and Black Truffle oil and Homegoods that I’m going to give a whirl.  I’m sure they will work fairly well for salads.

Occassionally I employ slave labor.  Only when she’s in a mood to be a slave, though. 😉
