Here we go…the first Theme Thursday at my place! I decided to make a button for those of you that love those buttons. You can see mine over to the side, and I will have the week’s theme under it each week.
Cute little button (The camera shown is the Nikon D300 *drool*):
The html code:
Here is my share for the week…yes, I took in the living room whilst he was watching cartoons again. This is the north facing room we get the glorious window light…all diffused and everything. Some days it seems like watching cartoons is all he wants to do. He does play with his toys, too, and run around, so I guess we do keep it at a balance. I remember the days when he didn’t pay any attention to the TV and now he LOVES it so much. At least we have TPT Kids on cable…it is the only thing remotely educational.
I set my camera to vivid* and my settings were: 35mm lens, ISO 400, f2.2, 1/60 SS. So…what does everyone else have for this week?
*My DSLR allows me to change some global settings on it in the menu (options are: vivid, sharpness, contrast…but I can only choose one and it doesn’t let me set an amount). From what I gather the new D300’s allow you to set each one of those and at an amount you like. You barely have to do any processing on the pictures! *drool, drool* 😉
Love his gorgeous eyes…windows; and I always love your photopgraphy tips.
Thanks for continuing Theme Thursday. 🙂

Hi! I love his PJs, and I would love to join your Theme Thursday! I just started a new blog, http://kimdevoe.blogspot.com/ , and there is a picture from Tuesday that I just love, entitled “Boys Will be Boys”. Basically, a bunch of 22-50 year old guys decided that the steamed windows of the restaurant was just too tempting to resist! 🙂
Cute picture, the eyes are wonderful. Here is my pictures http://girlsinthegarden.blogspot.com/2007/12/theme-thursday.html
Mr. Kai looks so grown up there. I love his pjs. Sounds like you’re really yearning for a D300!!!
I had to sretch – a lot – to make this fit the theme…but here’s mine

GORGEOUS! I love the color…so very um…vivid! 🙂
Some of my favorite photos of the girls have been “window” photos since we have amazing, huge windows…but alas, I was not able to put together a TT post today. I’m so bummed, but I’ll be back next Thursday. I had to post a few that have been hanging out in my “started” posts files today because I was trying to finish my work project.
Next Thursday for sure, and I’ll get through all the other great TTs tonight hopefully!
[…] I just learned about Theme Thursdays this week from the Land of KA who recently started hosting them. Every Thursday is a new theme to inspire a photo. This week, the theme is window, and she posted some tips on using light from a window to light up your subject. […]
Thanks everyone for your participation this week!
I’m bringing up the rear again. It’s just been busy around here! Stacy, I love the vivid colors or your picture this week. I didn’t really have time to take pictures but I wanted to revisit some old pics. Here is mine:

I’ll be out of town next week, so I probably won’t even bring up the rear!!

I’m late but I wanted to play!
