Let’s see…
- It snowed on Saturday night.
- It snowed all day Sunday.
- It snowed on Christmas Day.
- It snowed on Wednesday morning.
We have snow! Last winter we didn’t have hardly more than a dusting until New Year’s Eve when we got a good old fashioned blizzard. This winter we’ve actually had snow, which is really nice for the kids while we are home with them over the next week.
We went out to play in the snow around dusk on Wednesday night while daddy shoveled the driveway.
In case you are interested in the photography, I used my flash pointed off to the side of them when I took these pictures outside at dusk.
LOOK at all of that snow! How lucky to have snow on Christmas! It was actually quite “warm” here… and the skies were as blue as ever. I guess I can’t complain about it being beautiful outside! 🙂 Have a wonderful time in the snow!
Great pitures!!! We have had a lot of snow here this year too which is pretty odd for this part of the country. Strange year for weather!
What gorgeous shots! I love snow – which is good, because lately I feel like it is snowing all the time here! Luckily it’s only small amounts at a time…
I was going to ask about the flash…the lighting is great in these photos. It just touches their faces just right.
Now that’s a lot of snow! About 100% more than we’ll be seeing. :o) I totally adore the last two pictures.
Looks like a lot of fun. We have no snow. In fact, it’s raining.
Brr!!! Those are great photos! Here in the hot sunny south, we will finally be getting some real cold weather next week!
Wonderful bright, colorful photos. I enjoy seeing the snow, as there is none here!
Those are some truly stunning photos – and equally stunning memories! Glad you shared them at WE and hope you had a Happy New Year!
Look at the lighting in these photos…beautiful work, Stacy. The kids are just adorable.
Snow..I am drooling, really. I’ve been homesick for the mountains all month. Thanks for sharing your snow. 🙂
Happy New Year!
