As luck would have it, the kids got watercolors for Christmas! Anya loves to make art and was all over the watercolors. Kai participated in the task long enough to color two dinosaurs for us and that was enough. At least it was enough for mommy to get some pictures!

Love the pictures, I do love the lighting too. Harrison wanted to paint at his easel this morning, but being a bad mommy, I was in the middle of doing something else and the paint wasn’t ready to go so he didn’t get his wish. Not today at least. Maybe tomorrow.

Fun stuff! Great shots, o’ course!

My oldest loves to paint. I never know what to do with all her masterpieces though. Am I supposed to save them all? Anyway, here’s mine …

Well, I don’t have any shots of coloring, or painting. I do, however, have a shot of a gorgeous blue sky. The saturation of the colors in this I think are wonderful…and it’s straight out of the camera! No processing!

I like the angles you took your shots at – it sort of makes it feel more candid.
My girls love to paint, too. Here’s what I have:

Those are great shots. Very beautiful colors. I am scared of paint, they don’t have any in my house – bad momma. Here’s one that I shot of my older daughter:

Well look at that, very similar to what I did with COLOR! :o) I especially love that first one. I actually haven’t tried watercolors with Nadia…we’ll have to pick some up!

That is our fave pasttime around here, too. The lighting is so great in those photos, Stacy! Must be all the lovely light off off the snow coming through the windows? 🙂

Mine’s a little weak today, as far as supporting the theme. I’ll try to do better next week!

I love this theme – and thank you so much for continueing it – I love your pictures. your kids are so cute!
The kids are such cute artists. I have one “artist” like Kai and one very enthusiastic one like Anya. I love the shot of her grabbing of her “using all of them”.
Mine is very late, but still up on Thursday 🙂

There’s an extra “grabbing of her” in the above comment…let’s blame medication. 🙂
I’m way late…sorry!
