At least one was dressed, and out of her jammies. Another lazy weekend. I didn’t get many shots taken this weekend, but I anticipate to get some more this week. Today my new lens is supposed to arrive in the mail…woohoo!

You seem to have the best lighted house.
I love Anya’s outfit! Of course, I usually love Anya’s clothes. Just like I always love your b&w conversions. And Melody is right, you’be got the best lit house around.
Love this shot !!! It’s great ! What were they doing up there ? Just hangin’ out ?!
Thanks ladies! 🙂
Well, Kailan was trying to tell me something and Anya was just hanging out. I got some quick pictures of the two of them together. Got to be quick!
The lighting is partly how I expose my camera and mixed light from the rooms around them. Our hallway up there is not the best lit.
Christina, I love that outfit, too! It was a present from one of our friends for Christmas.
Very cute!
they are just TOO cute! I love the serious looks on K’s face all of the time. so sweet.
What a pose! Both of them!!!
love the striped tights in the b&w — they look very cool!
love those lazy days!
Nice shot! Lazy days are the best.
There is nothing wrong with having a lazy weekend – sometimes those are just what you need! Great shot – and I have to agree with the lighting, yours is always great, and you use it well!
What a great shot. I agree with all above, the lighting, the B&W, the outfit – it’s all a hit. You just want to sit and enjoy it for a few minutes. Which is what I did.
I guess you’ll have to give us another lesson on lighting and camera settings – although I do have a point-&-shoot (which doesn’t always live up to it’s name, mind you.)
they really have to be commended for being so tolerant, stacy! my girls are getting to the stage where all i’m getting are scowls and silly faces! k and a always “pose” so well!
wahoo!!! i cannot wait to see results from the new lens! which one did you end up getting??
Thanks everyone! 🙂
Carrie, my new lens is an 85mm 1.8. Love it so far! I need some light to see what it can really do, which won’t happen until this weekend.
Oooh, you did get the new lens!!! Can’t wait to see some pictures. :o)
what a cool shot. love all the stripeys!
They are adorable as always, Stacy. The b&w conversion is awesome.
Can’t wait to see what you can do with your new lens! More inspiration coming from the Land of K.A. 🙂
Wow! What an amazing photo. I have photoshop and know how to crop and take out red eye–and that’s about it. I am really looking forward to learning more and more.
