Brian was on top of things and was aware that a lunar eclipse was happening on Saturday morning.  He set the alarm and got up early.  Unfortunately, he could have slept another hour or so before we would really see anything happening with the naked eye.  I slept in as much as I could and then we watched as much as we could from the house.  It dipped below the trees and we saw clouds coming up from the horizon on the west.

Then Daddy roused Anya from her warm bed with promises of hot chocolate and we all got in the car.  Unfortunately, the cloud bank rose up and the moon dipped below it, and the horizon, before we could see much more of the eclipse.

At least we got to see a pretty sunrise.
