So apparently, there is this mouse that is a ballerina and has a cartoon. Hmmm, never heard of her, but Anya’s friend did.
We took the girls to the show, which was very intimate with probably only 15 kids at the most. We started with the cartoon on the big screen (it was in the meeting room of a country club). Then we went into an adjacent room with a dance floor and the kids sat around a lady that read a big storybook about Angelina. Then a young gal came in and tried to show the girls how to do some ballet moves to no avail. Next Angelina came in and danced to another story. Afterwards they got to make wands and crowns and got some little finger PB&J and cheese sandwiches with apple juice in tea cups. It was all very cute. 🙂
Let’s get this show on the road…I’m getting bored.
Ooooh, a story! I’m in!
Well, you don’t see that everyday.
Hmmm…I don’t think I can do that…I’ll just watch.
Ballerina in the making. 😉
What an adorable idea. We know of Angelina but aren’t really fans. Don’t know why.
I love that picture of the storyteller. It’s just beautiful how you processed it.
I think I would be afraid of the VERY large mouse, that dances!!! ha ha ha. I would just watch, too, Anya!
How fun! Great shots too!
I can’t get enough of these shots–the innocent quality, the beautiful light–wow! Thanks for sharing. That mouse is so funny!
Thanks ladies! I can’t tell you how happy I was when I walked into that room and saw the fantastic light coming through the windows. 🙂
gorgoues pictures…and your commentary was pretty hilarious too!:-)
A couple of years ago, we lived next to a family with a little girl called Angelina. She LOVED Angelina Ballerina!

What a cute idea! I like the way everything tied in to ballet with the story and the dance and the tea. What a wonderful adventure. 🙂
