Grateful that we could have a nice Valentine’s Day dinner, though it was just at home.  I made pan seared tuna with a balsamic/white wine glaze, creamy baked hashbrowns, a salad with citris vinaigrette, brie and strawberries and an olive/antipasti tapendade in puff pastry. We washed it down with an excellent bottle of pinot noir (Williams Selyem Peay Vineyard 2007) and I gained half a pound when I got on the scale the next morning.  It was worth it. 🙂

Grateful for pretty mornings with fresh fallen snow.

Grateful for our little Picasso.  She keeps our refrigerator full.

Grateful for little neighbor friends.  L spent the entire afternoon at our house.  It is so nice to have a 4.5 hour playdate on a Sunday afternoon where they get along so well.
