Grateful for warm weather! This past week it has been so nice and warm. Very unseasonably warm. We had the windows and doors open to air out the house, and the kids exposed their skinny little legs. Anya couldn’t wait to put on her new clothes as it was finally warm enough to wear them.
Grateful for new grill grates. We’ll see if it makes the grill last a bit longer. I think next to replace will be the gas pipes…they are very, very rusty. Like falling apart rusty. No wonder things cook too fast! When the little pipe is missing the “top”, the adjustments on the front of the grill MEAN NOTHING.
Grateful for little kids’ imaginations. Here they are preparing for the leprechaun. They were sure their traps would work. Kailan even set up activities for the leprechaun to play with little notes at each one, and each had a trap to either make noise to wake Kailan or to trap him. Anya’s was a bit simpler, but still set up quite nicely. Unfortunately, neither one of them was able to entrap the little man, but he left them some gold chocolate coins for their efforts.

magic will never find it.

It’s amazing that the leprechaun found his way through Kai’s room!
Grateful for perseverence. The kids are trying to learn to ride their bikes without their training wheels. Patience is the key here. It takes a bit to get this… but once you learn you never forget. Right?? I think the last time Brian and I got on a bike we were biking down a volcano in Maui….at about 40 mph. Brakes are quite useful in that situation. 😉
Oh my those Leprechaun Traps are amazing!!!!!!!! We don’t do that kind of thing here. Sad really.
And I so remember the bike riding without trainer wheels! What a hoot. A friend took one wheel off the BA’s bike first and she rode around in circles for a weekend hahahahahahahahah
That’s too bad they didn’t catch a leprechaun. The traps look like they would work. Maybe next year.
Hi Stacy! I had to come over and see what you are up to. Your kids are gorgeous and my sons are also into bionicles right now! So much fun.
