Happy Easter to everyone.  We are staying home this weekend and just relaxing.  No running around for us, which I think we really need. 🙂

Coloring eggs

We colored eggs on Friday afternoon.  It was the first time I attempted this with the kids.  They can be a little messy and not so careful with fragile eggs, you know.  They did great and Anya only dropped one of her eggs on the floor.  In dying the eggs, Kailan was the patient one and Anya thought they were done 5 seconds after she put them in the dye solution.  Much touching occurred, too, and there were fingers dyed many colors of the rainbow.  After it was all done we heard, “Can we put the eggs in their nest (basket)?”  Oh, these moments with kids are so fun! 🙂
