This were actually taken the weekend prior and not this weekend. My sister-in-law has horsies, too. We have much horsies in our family! Anya wanted to go down to the barn to see the horsies and the cows. She was a bit nervous about the cow, Shorty. I set her on his fence, and she wasn’t so sure that was a good idea. 😉
I’ve got my eye on you!
Looking a bit shaggy – still in their winter coats.
We are hoping for warmer weather this week…I think we are going to hit the mid-60’s. Whoo hoo!
Ha…when the screen loaded all I could see was the first photo and the title “more horsies”…I was about to ask if you were aware that that was a cow 🙂
Lovely photos. Livestock make great subjects.
Great photos, Stacy. I really like the first one, a bit of I have my eye on you!
I love that last one !!
LOL…I had the same thought as Alissa, seeing the title and that first photo!!
I love their soft, fuzzy winter coats!
Thank you…I am so missing our mountain horses. I’m with Christina, I’ve always loved those fuzzy winter horsey coats.
That cow face is just great!
So cute! I am jealous that you get to be around animals so often…totally not fair!
And I agree with you about the warmer weather — we’re supposed to have it warm and sunny for a least a few days…although I’m not getting my hopes up yet…
LOL – yes, I know I shouldn’t have put the cow first, huh?? 🙂 Thanks ladies!
I love that first one!!!
Yep, it’s shedding time that’s for sure. Best trick to working the winter hair out is to wet your horse down and then attack them with the shedding comb. Cuts down on fluffy bits of hair blowing back in your face too. 🙂
And you now, my husband’s name is Shorty…really it is…says so on his SSN card. LOL
Very cool… I wish I had some fun farm animals to photograph….
We’re getting into the upper 60s this week, too. I can’t wait.
I’ve been wanting to take a picture of a horse for N. We had dinner at a restaurant last night that had longhorn cattle in the front. The girls got to feed them. One of my only times ever that I didn’t have my camera. Of course those are beautiful.
these are great. i can’t wait for the weather to warm up around here so we can really get outside. i am so tired of being cooped up indoors!
I loved these pictures. They looked so pretty and peaceful!
I love the last shot Stacy! Well I like all of them but that one in particular the most!
The horses are wonderful. Especially with the little bit of snow still on the ground in the background. I can feeel the chill.
I love these pics…I love when the horses have their fuzzy coats.
