I was really hoping to get some projects done this weekend. My Mom and sis came to visit on Saturday, so that day was shot. Sunday loomed with a headache all day, so that day was pretty darn unproductive, as well. All I wanted to do was rest and sleep!
I need to figure out what I want to get done, so here is my “little” list of projects:
- Finish up my car organizer for Linda at Craft Apple.
- Make a purse to take with me on my trip at the end of the month – it needs to fit my camera and be comfortable and pretty!
- Finish up my tutorial for summer dresses so I can submit it for the Sew Mama Sew tutorial contest (need to get this done before the end of April).
- Make a baby gift for a friend that had a little girl last month.
- Make a few horse show shirts/jackets for my sister, as she is going to be taking her Buckskin colt in some halter classes. I have the pattern and the fabric, so I am part way there! At least I have time to get this done – she said she doesn’t need them until June.
- I want to make a little scrapbook for Baby Boy T.’s first year. I’ll put some pictures I took in it, along with spots for his mom to fill. His birthday was last week, of course. I’m so behind.
- Make some skirts for me for work/play. I pretty much live in skirts, so I’d like a have a few new ones for summertime.
- Get back into scrapbooking and AT LEAST get 2007 done and in a book. I think I have up to November-ish done.
- Make some items to put in an Etsy store. I want to use some of my fabric stash up that is just sitting there taking up space!
So that is my “little” list. I’m a “little” overwhelmed, but hopefully I can knock a few of them off this week. I think. 😉
I recommend you make a purse just like the one you made for me for the PIF swap. That thing is awesome! I packed that bag all over the country–here to Denver to Phoenix to Grand Canyon to Phoenix to Chicago to here. The strap is wide and comfy and the little pockets were great and it held a ton–even my 20D if I didn’t mind the weight. AND, I got so many compliments on it everywhere I went. I was so proud to tell them that it was a handmade original 🙂 I bet they’d sell like crazy in an Etsy shop.
And, you should make some of those skirts you mentioned for Etsy. I’d buy one 🙂
I am overwhelmed and I don’t have to do any of it! Seriously, I am a list-maker and if I have one, then I tend to get more accomplished. Does it help you?
Good luck on all your projects, I caught up on scrapbooking until January 2008 this past weekend. Now to print off more pictures.
Wait, did I miss where you are going for your trip?
That’s quite a list. Good luck.. I can’t wait to see the finished products.
WOW girl, if you make a camera bag, I wanna see – can I hire you? I hate the ugly one I have – it works well but ugh LOL 😀
This is NOT a little list!!!
Don’t stress yourself out!! Good luck! 🙂
Wow! That is a long list. One step at a time will get it all done!
You’re little overwhelming list reminds me of my little overwhelming list too. 😛
Goodness woman, you have so much going on! You accomplish more than anyone I know, yet you still expect more out of yourself! wow. I am so glad to hear Baby T is doing well – can’t believe it’s been a year already. Once you start with Esty, I bet you could quit your job and do that fulltime. Your gorgeous creations will sell like crazy. I already know I will drool over the purse/camera bag you make.
