Hey folks!  We made it back from our trip…yay!!

Here’s a quick recap:

• We flew out last Saturday and went to my cousin’s place in the Modesto, CA area.  We couldn’t fit all our bags in the trunk.  Fortunately there was enough room between the seats for a bag.  Yeah, that was comfy.
• We drank lots of beers with my cousin and her hubby.  Good people.
• We went to Yosemite on Sunday.  Gorgeous park.  Took lots of pictures.
• On Monday we headed for Sonoma after Brian figured out how to get the convertible down.  We got sunburned.
• We drank wine.  We orded lots of cases.  We got called by our credit card company for potential fraudulent activity. 
• We ate good food.
• I started to get carsick from all of the windy roads.
• We went to two different redwood parks.  Gorgeous and insanely peaceful.  Took lots of pictures.
• We stayed in San Francisco on Friday night at a very pretty hotel and had some awesome sushi.  I couldn’t get my dress zipped…I think I gained a few pounds along the way.
• We flew back on Saturday.  Got to our car in the lot and the battery was dead.  I was so ready to get home I wanted to sit down and cry.  I might have said an f-en-heimer or two.  Thank goodness for AAA.
• We spent way too much money. 

Just one picture right now.  We get our kids back today and I have a lot of pictures to go through.  This is where we had lunch last Sunday.  We stopped at a nice turnout in Yosemite overlooking the valley.     My cousin made some great tri-tip sandwiches and we opened a bottle of pinot noir.  The waterfall in this shot is Bridalveil Falls (click to see it bigger).
