Theme Thursday – Flowering

Hopefully everyone will have something flowering to share this week. I know our spring garden is full of flowering trees and such. The winds are blowing pretty strong today, so I’m hoping all the flowers aren’t all gone by the end of the day.
I ran out of time to complete some tips in the making, so no tip again today. I thought I would show you the result of my taking Anya out to take pictures. She was not a cooperative subject.
I got a nice shot of the back of her head at a lake beach.

I tried to ply her and get in her good graces with hot chocolate and M&M’s. Unfortunately, that didn’t work. It was a tad cold and windy out, so I don’t blame her for her sour disposition. Besides the weather, there was a playground nearby just calling her name.
She enjoyed that…right after the very load and boisterous little boys left. 😉
Later on after her nap we went for a walk to the lake by our house. She was actually having a good time and even smiling. Most of the time all I got were her serious looks. It wasn’t the best day for pictures for me.
I got a lot of serious looks. She was watching the geese and their little goslings.
At least I got one pretty happy shot.

You know, I love taking “happy” photos of my girl but those serious looks can be awesome shots as well. I love that 2nd to the last one.
BTW, I love that dress she was wearing on the playground! Is that your creation? A pattern? 🙂

Hey, they are very good anyway. I like serious. I posted some rather silly photos of our Memorial Day weekend camping adventure…..yep, in the back yard. Check them out. I’ve got great flower pictures too that I took the other day. I’ll post them in a day or too as well.

It’s good to know the master has bad days too. 😉 Some days I’m on fire….other days, nothing, no matter how many photos I take. Still, you got some great ones! I love the serious looks, and her eyes are amazing. turning 3 seems to have made her all grown up quite suddenly.
I don’t have anything to share but I can’t stop looking at that first photo! I love everything about it!
I love that one of her standing on the platform. It looks like shes ready to take on the world. She is just a doll.

I agree with Maya, I DO love that first photo! But I am glad to know you also have days like that, we should have a posting day like that–our photos of our kids that didn’t quite happen!

Dont you hate it when they dont cooperate? You got some good shots though. There’s nothing wrong with serious. I got a couple of those the other day myself. They are beautiful no matter what side they show. Thanks for sharing
