Hopefully this card does not find people thoroughly confused. The Grinch that Stole Christmas*? Get it?? I hope so. The first picture is a wee bit darkish, but hopefully it gets the point across. The textures on the cover I got from Shadowhouse Creations, and the frames I drew myself.
Christmas is about the joy of the season, the birth of Jesus, charity, love, peace for all mankind…and not just the getting of gifts. Not sure the kiddos are grasping that concept yet, but we are working on it. 🙂
*Yes, I know I plagerized the illustrious Dr. Suess. I hope he (or his estate) understands I meant no harm.

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, et al. to one and all. 🙂

So darling! I always love your Christmas cards – and how cooperative your kids are!
Love it!!
So cute! I got it right away! Very creative and fun.
TOTALLY got it, from the very first pic. That movie still makes me cry at the end. Well done, Stacy! Such a great card!
That is such a cute card, course that is one of my favorite Christmas movies…LOL
I didn’t get it. I thought they were watching the fireplace for Santa’s arrival! Duh-oh…..BUT I love the quote. And so pleased you got some pics of the kids in on the back or your family and friends would have been disappointed 😀
I love the idea of making my own cards. I intend to do it in my retirement!!!!!!
Well, I finally have my own site and am taking a breather from Home School planning to catch up on a few much neglected blogs. I thought of you this weekend when I bought a Kavu purse. The one I bought with this really cool patchwork design (http://www.kavu.com/shop/pc/viewPrd.asp?catID=84&idcategory=86&idproduct=1429). This one is tan but you can see the bag the best. And I thought to myself. Stacy could make that. Hopefully I’ll get a photo up soon so you can see mine. It’s way cooler than any of the fabrics they have listed here.
Hope you had a good Thanksgiving.
Julie
That card is beautiful and so is the sentiment!

SO very creative and awesome!! I love it, Stacy! It made perfect sense to me right away, too.
Once again you have totally outdone yourself! What a fantastic card!
